Versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.3 modernized HTML source work, added practical authoring tools, and resolved integration issues that could hide content or feedback from host applications. The release series also improved configuration consistency for URL handling and spell-check language settings.

  3. Fixed hosted factory toolbar buttons rendering at zero size after re-parenting, preventing an apparently empty host toolbar.
  4. Fixed WPF hyperlink apply failures that were contained but invisible to the host.

WPF HTML Editor 3.0.25-3.7.7: modern delivery, reliable editing and localization

This chapter modernized WPF HTML Editor delivery and APIs while strengthening everyday authoring. It added modern source, spell-check, browser-emulation and color-picker capabilities, then concentrated on preserving content through paste, editing, mode changes, saving and scaled-display rendering. Localization coverage and developer documentation also expanded.

  4. Improved color selection with a shared HSV/RGB color-space engine and remembered quick-palette or advanced-spectrum view.

  4. Expanded editor control with configurable clipboard-image handling, ReadOnly mode APIs, and an event for Style Builder OK clicks.

WPF HTML Editor Control 1.0-1.8.5: Authoring Growth and Reliability

From its 1.0 launch through 1.8.5, WPF HTML Editor Control added integration, authoring, image, and spell-check configuration capabilities. This chapter also concentrated on dependable rich-text editing: preserving document content and formatting, improving hosting and configuration scenarios, and addressing crashes, memory leaks, and multi-instance behavior.
