Why different customers see different type of PayPal page ?

When I select the BUYNOW button I get to see this page : Paypalpagetype002.jpg

I check other site and they see a different set up like : Paypalpagetype001.jpg

Do I get to choose my paypal setup type ? Please advise.

Dear Ian,

We know about it and there is nothing to do with the Control or nothing can be done by the developer about this. It is really PayPal's decision about whom to expose the Credit Card Option and Whom not to. For example, when you purchased our product from PayPal website, if you were in USA/Canada you could see the page like Paypalpagetype001.jpg but if you are in India, Bangladesh or some listed countries, you would see page like Paypalpagetype002.jpg. I am not sure what you see from your country but this is the true story. Anyway, we will ask PayPal about their policy and I will let you know. So, I am marking this ticket as 'Taken Over' so that I can get back to you with the answer given by PayPal within 2 business days.

Dear Ian, I got the answer from the PayPal merchant technical support and here it is:

Question: Based on the attached 2 screenshots, can you tell me is there any HTML variable that I can use to control this behaviour in my BuyNow button ?

Answer: Unfortunately there is no variable to control this behavior with a PayPal button. The page will depend on the cookies. If the customer has no Paypal cookies the credit card form will be displayed at the first page.

Some countries do not have the option to pay with credit card.
