Paypal subscription, can I change a subscription amount once running, or stop subscription?

Hello,
With Paypal subscriptions, can I change a subscription amount once running, or stop the subscription?
I am mindful that if my customers subscribe and I want to amend my prices in the future, if they have a fixed Paypal subscription they would continue paying the original amount.
In short, if my prices went up in say 5 years, how would I best amend subscriptions?
thank you
Craig

Dear Craig,
Actually, your user will need to visit your website where you can set another Subscription Button with the property related to Subscription Modifications. So, you may send an email to the user to click a link (to come to your website) where he can click your Subscription Button (with Modification properties).
I believe, there should be a better pattern. Please allow me couple of days to get you a better answer.

Dear Craig,
We have prepared the detailed answer for you from PayPal documentations.
Suspending Subscriptions
If you became a PayPal Merchant after October 15, 2009, you can suspend a buyer’s subscription. Suspending a subscription lets you stop charging the buyer, but keep their subscription profile active so you can use it for future charges. For example, if your subscriber is going on vacation and wants to stop receiving the subscription material during that time, you can suspend their subscription. Only PayPal merchnats can suspend subscriptions.
